Stephen Shortis BBus FCPA
Stephen has been in Public Accounting in his own business since 1976, having gained his degree at Swinburne University. He is a Registered Tax Agent and was made a Fellow of CPA Australia in 1997. He is also a Fellow of NTAA, a member of the Financial Planning Association and a Director of a number of small companies. Stephen is an Authorised Representative of Count Wealth Accountants. Leanne Lucas BBus FCPA
Leanne specializes in our small business clients for whom she provides financial statements and taxation returns. She is a Registered Tax Agent and Fellow of The Tax Institute of Australia and is available to provide tax advice and for appointments.
Deborah Cameron BBus CPADebbie is currently on maternity leave, but still doing some part-time work for the firm. Julie Gill BBus CPA
Julie is in charge of our Self Managed Superannuation Funds, she also prepares taxation returns and Business Activity Statements. Troy Shortis BBusTroy is responsible for the management of the company’s information technology systems. He also provides support to clients using MYOB, Quickenbooks, Cashflow Manager and BankLink, as well as peparing Business Activity Statements and taxation returns.
Ryan Cawte BBus(Acc)Ryan is the newest member of our team having recently completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Swinburne University, he is enjoying applying his knowledge while working with the rest of the accountants to complete a variety of client work including Business Activity Statements, taxation returns and financial statements.ryan@svsmanagement.com.au Cherylyn BattenCherylyn is responsible for all Corporate Affairs matters including Annual Reviews and lodging any necessary changes for companies. She also manages the compliance requirements of the practice and assists in arranging finance and loans for clients as well as providing administrative support for our financial planners and contractors.
Angela RussellAngela is one of our Customer Services Officers and receptionists she is a first point of contact for all our clients. She is responsible for appointments, lodgement of taxation returns, BAS and IAS returns FBT details and all queries.
Jean ShortisJean is our CEO and is responsible for office administration. She
also
provides payroll, workcover and rental property statements. Kate O'Brien Kate manages our Centrelink clients handling queries and also acting as an advocate for and monitoring clients’ requirements in relation to Centrelink and Veteran Affairs payments or correspondence.
Cliff Evans Fdn DFP
Cliff is an integral part of of our financial planning team and can be consulted an all aspects of financial planning and investments. Cliff is an Authorised Representative of Count Wealth Accountants.
Jess MitchellJess is our Bendigo Bank agency manager and is responsible for all banking queries including investments, loans and insurance. Sue Dickson
Sue is Steve's personal assistant and is responsible for managing his workflows and provides support services for all his work. She also provides administrative support for our share trading and portfolio management services where she is responsible for the paperwork associated with lodging, recording and redeeming of investments and any queries regarding these. Chris job shares with Angela on reception as a first point of contact for all our clients. She is responsible for appointments, lodgements of taxation returns, BAS and IAS returns, FBT details and all queries. Consultants and ContractorsIn order to provide the widest possible range of services to our clients, as well as the staff mentioned above, the company makes use of the following consultants or contractors: Tony ShortisTony is an experienced bookkeeper who as well as providing bookkeeping to a number of our clients assists the firm with one off and special projects. Robert TurnerBob conducts community audits on behalf of the firm. Bob is a former company auditor. Herman BalsterHerman audits the Self Managed Superannuation Funds managed by SVS Management Services on behalf of their clients. John NaughtinJohn provides bookkeeping services and advice for several of our
